The original, classic Colonia created in 1916, is a fragrance that seduces both men and women alike. Produced with artisan care, it is the result of a perfect blend of Sicilian citrus, fruit fragrance, lavender, rosemary, verbena and rose. Colonia, Acqua di Parmas classic scent, has entranced and seduced a band of faithful customers since the turn of the 20th Century. While Colonia instantly releases a fresh, clear, clean balance, it encompasses a range of different notes and a complex bouquet that mingles together in the bottle but expresses itself individually once applied to the skin.

The standard bottle, handmade of transparent glass, retains the unaltered Art Deco design from the 30s. Boasting natural ingredients, a hand-distillation process and the same original recipe, Colonia is hand packed in a small workshop where one woman delicately applies each label by hand. The secondary packaging is also hand crafted and features embossed paper in Parma Yellowwhich according to art historians was used on the facades of the finest buildings in Parma, Italy since 1700and bears the royal coat of arms of Parma.
