In homage to renowned artist William Morris, this rug features his signature vine and pomegranate motifs framed by an acanthus leaf border inspired by a Morris & Co. tapestry. A special dyeing process imparts subtle shadings to a dynamic palette of blues, greens, terra cotta, saffron yellow and ivory tones on a warm red ground. The resulting striated effect recreates the depth of hue achieved by aged vegetable dyes. Woven of premium worsted wool and finished with a patented luster wash for indulgent softness.
