In 18th century England, Josiah Wedgwood, creator of the world famous Wedgwood ceramic ware, established a tradition of outstanding craftsmanship and artistry which continues today. The exotic India dinnerware pattern presents a pattern of exquisitely detailed, diminutive florals on a yellow and deep blue band against pure white bone china.

Ribbon Stripe is a cultured design inspired by a favorite Paris porcelain tea set. The original, crafted in the late-18th to early-19th century in the north of Paris, featured elaborate, figural hand-painting and lavish gilt accents. In this clean, modern version, varying widths of gilt and color banding create a design motif that is spare yet sophisticated, with concentric bands of gold circling the classically styled rims.
