A luxurious adaptation of the Navajo rugs in Mr. Lauren's personal collection, this Ralph Lauren rug combines two ancient knotting techniques--the Soumak flat loop weave and Peshawar pile weave--in one design for rare and varied sheen. Vegetable dyes were used to enhance the naturally rustic appearance of the fibers.
